James Cameron Commits to Avatar 2 & 3
James Cameron signed a foreshorten with Fox to make two sequels to Avatar due out in 2014 and 2015 set on Pandora.
We should have all known that this was approach. The amazing achiever of Avatar launched the 3D fad and a m blue Navi cosplayers. It only makes sense for James I Cameron to expand the story and world of the major planet Pandora through more visually breathtaking films. The film director said that Incarnation 2 and 3 are the next two films that He will relieve oneself, just it's bring in that these films are very early in the preparation stage granted that we North Korean won't see them for 4 or 5 years. Cameron's statement announcing his plans was full of platitudes.
"Avatar was planned as an epic exercise of phantasy – a world that audiences could visit, across all media platforms, and this moment marks the launch of the next phase of that world," Cameron said. "With two new films on the drawing boards, my company and I are embarking on an epic journey with our partners at Twentieth Century Fox."
Cameron did say each of the two sequels will receive all-out stories. "In the second and third films, which will exist self contained stories that also carry through a greater narration arc, we testament non back down the throttle of Avatar's sensory system and emotional H.P., and will continue to explore its themes and characters, which brushed the hearts of audiences in all cultures around the macrocosm. I'm looking forward to returning to Pandora, a earthly concern where our imaginations sack be given wild."
Of class, Fox is happy with the deal, as they wish likely continue to black and white money-hats stamped with Avatar. "We had no higher precedency, and can feel no greater joy, than enabling Jim to continue and expand his vision of the creation of Embodiment. This is a great day in the history of our troupe," Fox Film Entertainment Chairmen Jim Gianopulos and Tom Rothman same, probably simultaneously and with shit-feeding grins on their faces.
I saw Avatar in 3D the day it came out and I was blown away. I know that there has been a backlash amongst the nerds that Cameron did nothing new and that the story was predictable garbage, but I genuinely liked the film and I hope that these sequels live busy it.
Plus, I hope we get to see Giovanni Rabisi reprise his role as the squirmy businessman Parker Selfridge. I love that guy.
